Vault 2i ripped double album tunes interwoven

After ripping a double cd with the Vault 2i, the resulting recording is arranged by track number so the two cds are blended. Is there a way to separate disc 1 from disc 2 to get the songs into the appropriate order? How can I avoid this problem in the future? Thanks in advance for help.

  Thanks for the reply.

  I followed the instructions for Mac at the site that you shared and changed the numbering on the file names. In the file list the songs are in proper order. I re-indexed. No change. I went back and put the newly named files into separate folders, re-indexed, no change.

  Any other ideas or thoughts on how to re-name the files so they will be in the correct order?
