New Node-IR port on rear panel?
AnsweredI just bought the new Node (2021 model) and I use a Harmony Pro 2400 Remote and the remote has IR wires that will directly plug into the back of devices that have this feature and I cannot get it to control the Node. I have the Node already in my Harmony devices because I just replaced the Node 2i. So I just kept that there since it works. I can get it to work using a IR eye adhered to the front IR eye and works just fine however the IR port on the back is much cleaner and doesn’t send out commends to other devices. Any ideas?
I’ve tried both mono and stereo 3.5mm cables. Neither work.

Hi Todd
It should work but if it is not working, you will have to check with Logitech. The eye that the NODE requires must be powered.
Here are some more notes on how Harmony remotes work with BluOS; https://support1.bluesound.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005566768

Bluesound support-Any word about this?
I know my remote controls the Node with the actual remote control itself and it works with the IR eye when it’s put (stuck) right on the front near the Node IR sensor.
As soon as I use a 3.5mm cable for the IR port on the back of the Node, I’m not able to skip/pause etc the Node. 🤷🏻♂️

It is powered and it controls every device that is plugged into it whether it is 3.5mm cable or a IR eye, it works and and that same port I use for the Node I’ve tried with other gear and works just fine. So the port on my remote and hub works fine.
As mentioned earlier the Node works using a IR eye out of the same remote hub port or any other port.

Hi Todd
If you have programmed the NODE to accept IR commands and still having issues, please select Help, Send Support Request in the App.

I sent in a support request last Wednesday and haven’t gotten a response.
