    Please uninstall the App completely by moving it to the Trash then empty your Trash. Restart your MacBook and download a new fresh copy of the App and install it from www.bluesound.com/downloads

    Thanks for the answer, Tony! The solution you gave worked for a while, but now the desktop app has started doing the same thing, slowing down if left running in the background. Restarting the app fixes this, but there's definitely a bug somewhere. I'm running MacOS Big Sur 11.5.2.

    Same here. App becomes unusably laggy after a while, even with fresh install. It controls a BlueSound Node 2i in my setup, though. (Big Sur 11.6.1)
