Clarification of switching surround sound to stereo
AnsweredHi,
Say I have set up a POWERNODE and two Flex 2i's to act together as a surround sound system. The POWERNODE would obviously be connected to my two main stereo speakers.
OK - I'm watching TV with the output going from the TV to the POWERNODE via HDMI - and the sound is output in surround sound.
If I then start playing music (from Amazon Music HD) using the Bluesound app would this then automatically switch to stereo mode (i.e. just using the two speakers connected to the POWERNODE)? Or would it force it through the surround sound group - or would I have to manually switch to stereo mode?
Thanks for your help.

If you have Stereo Surround set to off, then playing non-Surround content will only come out of the fronts i.e. the POWERNODE.
With Stereo Surround on, then your Amazon Music content will be remixed and played out of the rears as well.
