Thanks for the feedback, Edward. I have passed it along to our Product Development team for consideration but have no immediate time frames to share.

Here are a few links your development team might be interested in...

    1.  Here is a basic process to "side-load" your EXISTING Andoid app (APK) on a FireTV device.  I have done this and the app WILL run and play music but the interface is hampered by not having proper button (up/down/left/right/select/back) functionality:

    2.  And here are some design considerations when porting a standard Android App to run on a FireTV Device:

Any updates on this?  Why don't you create a FireTV app that lets me control my Bluesound devices?  It could simply be a fork of your Android App!  (As FireTV runs Android...)

Are you guys EVER going to do this?

    This would be brilliant!

Thanks to Edward for showing us how to get it going on the Fire TV.

I've just done this and yep it's got limited functions but looks fantastic!

If we could get an app for roku or firestick that would be great. I don’t need the app to control the device only want to show the album art. Would be super cool if this could be done

It would actually be easier to do the whole port to FireTV rather than to start over or hack it up.

BluOS ***ALREADY*** has an android app - and FireTV runs Android!

    FireTV ***IS*** Android!

You can actually ALREADY load the BluOS android app onto the FireTV (via side-loading) - and it DOES run, function, and show artwork. (Try it!)  The problem is that the Android app is not optimized for the graphics ratio of a TV screen resolution - and most importantly - is not designed to work with the left-right-up-down-select controls of the FireTV controller.  (The android native app is optimized for finger pointing and dragging).  IOW, the GUI can't be efficiently operated with the FireTV remote.

But the functionality FireTV needs is already fully implemented (and fully functional) in the Android app.  The problem is, even if you side-load it onto the FireTV it's just not very receptive to working with the FireTV remote.

BlueSound is so close if they would only do a little bit of work to fork the Android app to have a better GUI for the FireTV application...

But, I've been asking for this for years!  It just appears that BluSound doesn't care or recognize the value which could EASILY be added.  But thanks for letting your voice be known as well!
