Hdmi Centre channel support

Hiya,
Proud owner of a Node 2i here. Beautiful sound - and I think your bluos app is better than Amazon music's own app in many ways.
I'm using the Node 2i in my work room - and was looking to get one for the front room. I have a TV with a speaker either side and a stereo amp - the TV currently goes into the amp via a DAC and other music is fed in via a chromecast.
Now I see that the node 2i has been superseded by the new Node.
My question is this. If I plug my TV into the Hdmi earc input will the centre channel enhancement option be available? I would take the output from the Node via RCA to an input of my stereo amp - and I'm sure the streaming music sound quality would be great - but if I'm watching TV it would be good to be able to enhance the dialog.
The reason I'm asking is because I think the Hdmi input only accepts PCM - stereo - and therefore no separate centre channel is available for enhancement. Is it the case that Centre channel enhancement is currently only available on your soundbar type products?
And actually, I have the same question for the new powernode. Can it produce enhanced dialogue via some sort of phantom centre speaker or centre speaker enhancement?
Thanks again for such a great device as the Node 2i at a price where we can buy it without our wives/husbands going nuts!

Correct - only the SOUNDBAR (all models) and POWERNODE (2i w HDMI or N330) will decode DOLBY, but not the NODE.
The Enhanced Dialogue option was available on the SOUNDBAR and SOUNDBAR 2i but no longer available as DOLBY has made changes in our anticipation of launching DOLBY Atmos on the SOUNDBAR+ in the coming months.
