Connecting Node 2i to iTunes folder on iMac

Trying to share Music/iTunes folder from older iMac (MacOS 10.11.6). Your instructions for filesharing in MacOS were followed. From BluOS app on phone (Mororola Android), 'Manually add network shares'. Netbios name is used with following syntax:
\\REWRITE\MUSIC
...but the share fails consistently. Please advise.

   @Tony W. I'm having a problem mailing your support crew through the web interface even after configuring Safari to accept cookies from your domain. I'll try from Chrome

  Ha yes slight delay while I fetched the mega-secure pw from Safari so as to be able to sign in through Chrome. Trouble ticket is now raised with BluOS support.

  @... Yes the computer name (NetBIOS) is REWRITE. I read that I can substitute the URL? I am also not clear about whether I have to declare the entire following path or just the iTunes Library folder. Also reverse slashes [\\\] not usually part of my world.

  Meanwhile many analogue LPs going unplayed while I am buried in digital networking tomfoolery.
