New Update destroyed my network share Time Capsule
AnsweredHi I was hoping someone could help me here. I updated today and my network share stopped working. I removed it, factory restet the Node 2 (newest model) and can't seem to add the network share back.
For reference I am using a MacBook pro (Big Sur)
Older model Time Capsule (hasn't been an issue)
I have tried using IP address, every variation of base station name and directories I could thing of, the way they are in Finder, all caps, lower case, no spaces, - marks, you name it I've tried it.
any help would be appreciated it. o

After 48 hours of fiddling I’ve figured it out. Now the path I had to put into the network share was different this time. I have no idea why because nothing changed. But hopefully this helps someone else.
Before I enters the \\base station name\share\share sub folder
That worked fine. Update I applied to node 2 on 6/25/2021 nuked it. So I tried every single naming option between the time capsule and the node. I finally reset each and my router, placed all 3 devices about 4 feet apart and tried again. The path that finally worked is as follows
\\ipaddress\time capsule\music\tunes music3
Now music and tunes music 3 are what my data and sun data folder are named. Just FYI.

I should have added that to my first post. Sorry about that. I tried a few times. Same outcome. It won’t seem to let me add from the app or the desktop program.
