LDAC Bluetooth is the highest bitrate transmission codec as of today.  I know it is Sony proprietary but many high end equipment have included the licensing cost into their product. It can’t be a total deal-breaker!

 

If the hardware is not an absolute limiting factor, please work with Sony licensing cost and bring a firmware solution that allows the NODE to support this highest quality Bluetooth codec.

  As you pointed out LDAC is a proprietary codec. We are however investigating this but have no news to share at this time. Your feedback has been forwarded to our Product Development Team for consideration.

  I also would like to have the LDAC code added so I would be able to listen on my Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones.  I just ordered your Bluesound Powernode which should arrive tomorrow.  I'm guessing that this codec won't likely be added in the near future so I'll have to rethink my purchase.   Terry

  Trying to link sony wh1000xm4 headphones to the new node and it's just not happening.they both have acc so what's up?
