Node with external DAC - volume control

If I connect an external DAC to the Node will I be able to control the volume via the Node (forward volume information)? Does the node output via RCA and digital simultaniously? Thank you!

  Yes… you can choose to have either a fixed output or variable, however if using an MQA DAC then you have to use fixed and turn off Tone Controls.

  All digital and analogue outputs are live simultaneously.
