NODE ICON - option to turn off display when not in use
AnsweredI recently purchased a NODE ICON streamer and I am disappointed in the inability to turn off the unit or at least the LCD display when I’m not using the unit. I use this unit primarily to play local radio stations and music CD stored on my NAS. The unit is installed in my media rack in my living room, and the display is a distracting light source when watching TV in a dark room. It would be useful to have the ability to control the LCD display (on/off) from an IR remote such as the Harmony Elite. Is there some way to do this or is this a feature planned for a future release?

I don’t have an ICON but on other models if the proximity sensor is turned off then the “off” setting for the LEDs is not available, absolutely no idea if this applies to the ICON screen.
