Sticky vault

My Bluesound Vault is a sticky mess. It still sounds good, but every time I've touched it, I have to wash my hands. I read so many complaints out there. I can't believe this falls on deaf ears. Recently, I purchased another streamer--not Bluesound, of course--to treplace it. I'm done with Bluesound.

  We’re sorry to hear about your experience with the sticky finish on your VAULT. This can unfortunately occur over time with the rubberized material used on some of our older Bluesound products.

  Some customers have had success removing the sticky residue using an electronics-safe, residue-free degreaser. Members of our community have also shared positive results using Polytrol, which you can read about in this community discussion.

  We have since moved away from this type of rubberized finish in our newer product lineup. from Bluesound. We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us.
