Missing Folder on Vault

A few days ago I tried to play an album (Abbey Road) and got a message to say the content couldn't be loaded. I therefore picked a completely different album (Sonny Rollins) which played fine. Yesterday I tried to play another Beatles album and got the same 'content couldn't be loaded' message. The phone app was showing all the Beatles album covers but none of them would play. When I looked at the Vault via the Finder on my Mac, the entire Beatles folder was missing. How could the Vault lose an entire folder and why was the app still showing the covers? Fortunately I had a backup of the Vault so could drag the Beatles folder back to the vault, but what could have happened and am I likely to 'lose' other folders?
