Subwoofer output low volume

The Sub out volume is extremely low. It was workign previously but stopped working - could it be related with recent firmware update? 

I can tell that the sub is receiving an audio signal only because i can feel the sub speaker vibrating very faintly - the signal volume is extermly low.

Tested the sub on a different system and is working fine.

Subwoofer toggle is switch on in the the audio settings. Corssover setting at 100Hz.  

I did a Node factory reset - issue not resolved.
