    Hi Spiegel,

Please send us a support request directly through the BluOS Controller app. This will automatically include a diagnostic log from your NODE ICON, which will help our Support Crew investigate both the track-start issue and the USB-C Auto Sense behavior.

Once the request is submitted, a member of our Support Crew will reach out to you soon to assist you further.

Same with me. I also get a brief burst of sound between tracks many times. It should be possible to have continuous playback without this happening. I have other devices that are able to do this with no problem.

Yes, similar issue. I use the Node Icon with an Fiio K13 R2R over Coax. When I change to a different track if the new track is of a different bitrate (16bit or 24bit) a beep occors. I´m using Spotify lossless. This used to work fine up until the firmware upgrade to 4.16.22

It does not matter if passthrough or trimming is on or off.

Same problem with me on my node nano last time i checked (July 13.)

The Bluesound quality assurance team know about this bug and replicated it in their lab, but it’s still not resolved as far as I know.

This problem affects all node nano, node 132 and node icon using digital output (coax or optical) into external dac.
Basically the problem is the first few milliseconds of audio being cut off on external DACs during 24-bit to 16-bit (and vice versa) Spotify Connect lossless transitions. Plus the other bug you mentioned when clicking the previous/next track buttons on the controller.

On July 15 this is the answer I got from support ( request #513480 )
“ I have conducted an additional review of the status of this issue with our Quality Assurance and Engineering teams. Currently, they are still addressing the matter, and there are no new updates or estimated timelines available. We are therefore unable to provide an estimated date for the resolution release.
However, as there is no further information available at this time, please be informed that our teams may reach out to you directly if additional details are necessary. Regrettably, we are unable to offer a definitive timeframe for resolution at this moment.
We are actively working to resolve this issue and will keep you updated on any new developments.”

I really hope a fix is coming soon because such a bug affecting all units using digital output / Spotify connect lossless is really a serious problem, and it’s been 9 month now. If it’s not being resolved soon I will probably switch to wiim who doesn’t have this problem.

It would be good to have public acknowledgement and a real timeframe for a fix here in this page.
Wiim and Cambridge streamer doesn’t have this bug at all with Spotify lossless using same external dacs, so it’s definitely a bug on blueos side
