Node Nano Connection

My Node Nano has an Ethernet connection. I guess it also has bluetooth too. I have the app installed on my Mac Mini (desktop) and my iPhone.
On my desktop, the Home tab just says, "Just a moment" and that's it.
When I use the app on my iPad, after "looking for Players" nothing happens - just a spinning wheel. I search in the settings for a wifi connection but there is nothing there either.
I can't understand how this hardware and software are so incompatible with each other.

Check your router for a setting called client isolation or similar, if there is turn it off and try again.
