Spotify in HR

I know Spotify is some kind of lossless now and in the Bluos app it shows the cd sign next to the Spotify symbol. But today I was listening to a classical theme and saw the HR sign next to the Spotify symbol. It wasn’t clickable, so I couldn’t check the bitrate. Is Spotify scaling up?

  Spotify support says that lossless is equivalent up to 24/44.1 which is a bit vague. Guessing the tracks were 48kHz or BluOS just displayed the incorrect logo.

  In a web browser, lets you see the current playing bitrate.

  Thank you. I got this data with the HR rated track: pcm/44100/25/2/296303 . And this with a CD rated track: pcm/44100/16/2/297303.
