Save volume per input channel

Please add support for saving volume per input channel. Right now I have to turn the volume way up for HDMI and then bring it down again when streaming music (e.g., via Spotify Connect). If I forget, I end up blasting extremely loud audio through the speakers. Constantly adjusting the volume every time I switch inputs is an unnecessary hassle.

 

I know others have requested this before but I don't understand why this is not a feature yet.
