HDMI problem
Answeredmy desktop computer is connected to my lg tv by hdmi.The tv is connected to my node 130 by optical cable thence to powered speakers,works fine good sound .BUT if i connect tv to node by hdmi arc to node hdmi i get no sound.Have set tv out from optical out to hdmi arc out,no sound .Is there a problem with the node hdmi input or is there a setting in the node.Everything works fine with optical connetions but i am told that hdmi connetions can give better sound,i just want to give it a try.

Hi Tony,
Please check and verify the following:
- The NODE is connected to the TV's HDMI ARC/eARC port.
- HDMI ARC/eARC is enabled in the TV settings.
- Simplink (HDMI-CEC) is enabled on the LG TV.
- The TV's audio output is set to HDMI ARC/eARC.
- For testing purposes, please set the TV's Digital Audio Output to PCM.
- If possible, please try a different HDMI cable.
