Constant WiFi drop outs.
Hi, I've got a NAD 3050LE and when first purchased I had the odd drop out that lasted a few seconds but they were rare and seemed to be fixed but cycling the amp. Now however, it's a constant problem to the point I read l almost don't use the streamer anymore. I've contacted my ISP who confirm a 1000mb connection with no issues and I've got a mesh WiFi system with a good signal. I've locked the 2.4g signal to channel 3 as advised elsewhere and no change. I'm out of ideas...

Hi Patrick, I am a Bluesound user but the technology is similar. In the first instance reboot your Router, followed by power cycling your NAD.
With the Router and your mesh there is probably some config needed to make it work optimally and you are best talking to NAD support who have the diagnostic tools to help. The high speed of your Internet line unfortunately is a red herring as it’s the internal network speed and signal strength that matter.
Regardless on 2.4 GHz the only channels you should use are 1, 6 or 11. These don’t overlap with adjacent channels but if you live in a very high density area of WiFi you can get away with using alternative channels. Ideally you need to do an RF scan to see your local environment, my Router has such a feature but not all do.
2.4Ghz does have greater range but it’s also much more congested so worthwhile trying 5Ghz while you wait for NAD support.
Please email NAD for support of your NAD 3050LE support@nadelectronics.com They will be able to help you further.

Thanks for your reply Seppi,
I've done endless restarts on both the router and the NAD to no effect. I've just done a scan for WiFi interference with my mesh system (never previously realised it could do this) and it said interference was high so it's reconfigured itself and now interference is given as low. On a very quick test it seems a little more stable but still drops out occasionally. I saw advice previously to fix the WiFi to channel 3 as that was the least congested but I'll try removing that constraint as it made no difference at all. I'll also try your advice on trying 5Ghz. Thanks for your help.

Just another thought , if you can temporarily run an Ethernet lead back to your Router then this would at least confirm the NAD is working properly - on Ethernet at least.
Edit… do reboot the mesh nodes as well if not already done so.
