    Hi John, more a case of if the LS50’s wake on detecting an input signal. Alternatively there is a trigger out on the NODE which could be used if the speakers have a trigger in.

    There are a few LS50 users on here who perhaps can offer more insight.

    Thx Seppi. I checked the speakers’ app and yes, they can be set to wake up on incoming signal via coaxial or toslink.

    Got the N132. Connected with coax to the LS50 wireless 2’s. Set the speakers to auto-wake on coax input signal. But unfortunately doesn’t work. Also tried with optical, same result. Any suggestions appreciated!

    just a wild guess: is the volume output level of the N132 high enough to wake the speakers?

    My amplifier sometimes falls asleep when the volume of my node is too low.

    Not sure if related, but I have set the (active) speakers to unity gain, so I can control the volume from the node.

    Just tried to set the node to high volume, but that also doesn’t wake up the speakers

    I have a Node Icon connected to LS50 Wireless II. It reliably auto-wakes the speakers with an aux connection, but not with optical. I believe that is because the optical output is always “on” on the Node. Have not tried coax. I would use the aux connector anyway because I prefer the sound of the Node’s DAC. So, the auto-wake is a nice bonus. There is a TV in this rig, too, connected via optical to the Node using auto sense. So, the TV wakes the Node, the Node wakes the LS50s. Gave up on using HDMI because in my setup, both Bluesound’s and KEF’s CEC/ARC are pretty wonky. It’s just 2ch stereo, so optical is fine. Output on the Node set to ‘Fixed’.

    Hi, thx for that detailed description. What exactly do you mean with AuX connection here? You mean you send the analog signal to the speakers since you use your Node’s DAC, right? Let me try that.

    Hi Mr. Muskoff... your duplicate post has been answered here; https://support1.bluesound.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/42734124053271

    @John Knock

    Yes, that's correct. The Node to KEF connection is a RCA <-> 3.5mm patch cable from the Audio Out on the Node to the AUX input connector on the KEFs. Then set the AUX input as the 'Second wake-up source' in the KEF app.
