Vault 2 connection
I have recently added a vault 2 to my bluesound gear (1 pulse 2i mini and 2 pulse flex) speakers. The vault powers up and when connected to the ethernet will settle to a solid blue. I can find a Bluetooth connection but seems to be unable ti link to it. nor is there any recognition on the bluesound app, I suspect a fault with the unit can you advise? Alos are there local repair agents if this is required?

Understood, thanks.
As Seppi has indicated, the Bluesound controller app on your iPad, PC, or phone connects to the Vault 2 using your local area network and not Bluetooth. The Vault connects directly via Ethernet and the controller app connects either through wi fi or Ethernet depending on what device it's running on and how that device is connected to your network.
Once you get the controller talking to the Vault then you'll be able to connect your iPad or PC or phone to the Vault using Bluetooth so that you can stream from them to the Vault. This, however, is entirely separate from controlling the Vault from the Bluesound controller app, which doesn't use Bluetooth.
If you continue to have issues then Google and, gasp, AI might be your friends.
Also, there is a "Getting Started" page on this site: -

Also, have you been able to see the Vault on your network as yet?
Keep going and please let us know how you get on.

A solid blue LED is good as this signifies that it’s connected and ready to play.
As it’s using Ethernet, do try connecting using a PC / Mac (BluOS app available on both) that is also using Ethernet and see if this works. Your router might be blocking connection between Ethernet and Wi-Fi.
Depending on the VAULT model not all had Bluetooth, might actually have been only the 2i variant.

The Vault 2 provides for Bluetooth input but not Bluetooth output.
So, I can connect my iPad to my own Vault 2 using Bluetooth and I can play Youtube recordings and Spotify from my iPad through the Vault 2 and thence through my stereo system.
The Vault 2 doesn't, however, act as a player feeding Bluetooth headphones or a Bluetooth speaker. To my understanding, however, the newer Vault 2i does do this. (And I've already been able to do this with my newly-acquired Node 2i.)
What are you trying to use Bluetooth for in this instance?
