Subwoofer integration

I recently calibrated my stereo using dirac live . I am connecting the node to the shiit cara preamp via analog l/r. How can i connect the subwoofer so the levels are fixed when i change the preamp volume control ? Do i set the node volume fixed and connect the sobeoofers to the node subout?

  For Dirac to correctly calibrate your room, the subwoofer must be connected to the NODE.
