BlueSound module bricked

I have a DD-BlueOS GEN2 VP1.1 which is suddenly dead. No earlier indication.. one day it was working and the next it was dead. Connected to internet by wire. 

Is there anything i can try locally to get it working? I was thinking about forcing a firmware update but it appears you have removed all support for manual updates.
