Node 2i crashes when app starts - connect services work fine
I have a new problem with my Node 2i that has always worked flawlessly up until now. The problem is, that as soon as I start the Bluesound App and try to access it, the device crashes and reboots. It does not matter what I do, it crashes after a few seconds weather I start or stop a stream or access the devices settings.
However if I use a connect service, it works without a problem. Be it Spotify connect, qobuz connect or Roon.
I also have a node Icon in my other setup. No problem here. The app reacts as usual.
I cannot tell since when the problem exists. Since I use mostly connect services I have not used the app in a while. The last firmware update ran smoothly. Both iOS App and Windows App cause the problem, both on the latest versions, as well as the firmware.
I would love to send crash reports, but unfortunately I cannot since the device reboots when I try to do that.
I tried power cycling already.

Just checked, I am still able to access the web application via browser. So most likely the issue is in the apps.

I would start by powering off your Node, then reboot the Router and wait five minutes before powering on the Node again.
Now test but if it still continues to have issues email support@bluesound.com
