Persistent dropouts on grouped Pulse M speakers (Powernode stable) despite strong WiFi and UniFi setup
Hi all,
I am experiencing persistent dropouts when grouping my Bluesound speakers.
Setup:
– Powernode (wired Unifi Ethernet)
– Two Pulse M speakers (WiFi)
– Strong and stable WiFi (around –50 dBm on both Pulse M speakers, around -45 on Powernode)
Problem:
When speakers are grouped, both Pulse M speakers stutter and drop out frequently. This happens with Spotify Connect, AirPlay and vinyl playback. Listening becomes impossible.
The Powernode in the same group always plays perfectly stable.
What I’ve ruled out:
– WiFi signal strength and coverage
– Roaming issues
– Internet speed or latency
This seems specific to grouped playback on the Pulse M rather than a general network issue.
Are there firmware versions, settings or workarounds that improve Pulse M stability when grouped?
Any insight from other Pulse M users would be very welcome.
Thanks in advance.
