Feature Request: DLBC for Node Icon

Dear Bluesound Team, ​I am a proud owner of the new flagship Node Icon. I chose this unit for its premium hardware architecture, specifically the Dual ESS ES9039Q2M DACs and the dedicated subwoofer output capabilities. ​Currently, I understand that the unit only supports the standard Dirac Live Room Correction. However, given the Node Icon's powerful processing capability and its positioning as a top-tier streaming DAC, I strongly believe it is capable of running Dirac Live Bass Control (DLBC). ​For 2.1 system users like myself (using high-end active crossovers), DLBC is the missing piece to achieve perfect phase alignment between the mains and the subwoofer. ​I am more than willing to purchase the DLBC license separately (just like on NAD devices). ​Please consider unlocking this feature in a future firmware update. It would make the Node Icon the undisputed king of streaming preamps and differentiate it significantly from the standard Node.

  Fingers crossed that the team sees the potential here! For users running 2.1 setups with active crossovers, this update would make the Node Icon the absolute perfect device. I'll be keeping an eye out for future firmware updates!
