Powernode n331 Dolby Digital plus/trueHD?

Why does the new Powernode n331 not support Dolby Digital Plus of TrueHD, but only Dolby Digital? Isn't that a missed opportunity since there's a dedicated center channel now for home theater purposes? Will that mean all Dolby Atmos, TrueHD or Plus needs to be down mixed to Dolby Digital before being fed into the N331?

  Another user here, Bluesound do have Home Theatre but for enhanced surround formats support look at NAD hardware (Bluesound’s sister company) which has BluOS available.

  Got ya. Still curious about the reason behind this. Does the N331 support multichannel (5.1) PCM? I could convert DTS or TrueHD to that using Kodi, but I'm afraid it'll playback as stereo only and I'm left with transcoding all commonly used surroundstreams to DD AC-3 5.1 instead.
