Anyone Having Problems With An Apple IPad And IPhone Taking A Long Time To Connect To Players?
AnsweredFirst we have six BS players in the home (large ranch with basement) have a netgear WiFi extender located in the center of the main floor and basement (Comcast cable modem is located at one end of the main floor). 3 weeks ago or so was having issues connecting to anything using the Wi-Fi and our desktop PC’s (LAN connection)…Comcast came out and replaced the modem. Connecting to the internet was fine but had issues connecting to the BS players after and with the help of the BS support group figured out the WiFi extenders needed to be “paired” again to the new modem (different IP address)and for the most part it fixed that issue….now to my question…Ever since if we shut our IPad’s or IPhones off and turn them on later we have issues re-connecting to the BS players right away. It goes into the “looking for players” but does not find any (if I turn on my desktop I can see them when I open the BS App…). Sometime I might see just a couple….after awhile I would power down the IPad and power it back up a couple minutes later and would now see all six players. If we leave the IPads and IPhones on all the time no ploblem. Have even a couple times shut my IPad off accidental (force of habit) power it back up right away and again connects to all six players…..anyway just wondering if anyone had this same issue in past and if yes did find a way to fix it? PS: IPads are Gen 9’s and the IPhones are 12’s Thanks
