Hi I want to play music through my LG SP 70 Y soundbar but since its connected to my LG TV via HDMI, I have to disconnect the HDMI and connect an optical cable to listen to music.

I would to know if I can connect a Bluetooth adaptor to the vault 2, will it work which saves me disconnecting the HDMI cable.

Or will a toslink switch with 2 inputs be another option?

  Hi David,

  Connecting a Bluetooth adapter to the Vault 2 may not work reliably with your setup, so it is not a recommended solution for this use case.

  Since your LG soundbar switches to TV audio when using HDMI, the most practical option would be to use a Toslink (optical) switch with two inputs. This will allow you to keep both your TV and Vault 2 connected at the same time and easily choose the audio source without unplugging cables.
