Node 2i - Extremely Loud Pops Between Tracks Starting With Latest BluOS Version

Hi,

I recently updated to BluOS version 4.12.11 on my Node 2i, and since then there started to be extremely loud pops when starting music about 40% of the time. No amount of resync delay added to the processing change seems to help. This never happened before the update through my many years of prior use in the same configuration. 

That longtime configuration is using Roon to stream music to the Node 2i and then output over optical to a Denafrips Ares II DAC.

The only variable that has changed is the BluOS version.

Is there anything that can be done about this? The pops are so loud I am worried they will damage my speakers or my ears.
