Which streaming account does a Node 2i actually use?
AnsweredI have seen some information alluding to multiple accounts, but I am still confused about what will happen when streaming. I am new to the Bluesound world, so hopefully the answer is obvious.
If one uses Alexa voice skill to request streaming, i.e. a preset, and that preset is associated with a service, i.e. Tidal, then which account will it use to stream? Is it the one that was signed in when creating the preset? Does the BlueOS app actually have to be open one a tablet or phone for this to work?
Which leads into the whole multi-user scenario. If user1 wants to listen on their PC or phone while familyuser1 wants to stream something different on the Node 2i, how does that get setup?
Want to make sure that if I start paying for Tidal Family I can actually listen to 2 different streams in different locations.
thank you!

When using Alexa, Blue Voice will stream using the account that's currently signed in (viewable in the BluOS app via the Navigation Drawer > Music Services). If you create a Preset with an account and sign out/sign a new one into BluOS, then the Preset will throw an error. The BluOS app does not need to be open for this to work.
At this time Multi-user accounts/family accounts are not supported in BluOS, but for TIDAL and Spotify specifically, BluOS supports the Connect models and so each person can simply 'cast' their music from their specific accounts via the apps from their phones (I suppose if for example Alexa supports Spotify Connect commands, with some elbow grease that could be a potential workaround).
