Custom URL Artwork

Hello!
Now that I have a fancy NAD amplifier that has a great touchscreen, I have been enjoying the artwork scrolling as I listen to my Library and Tidal. I have several favorites from TuneIn as well, and those stations' artwork shows up. I have also saved several custom URL stations, and the generic assigned icon is pretty bland. Is there a way to save artwork for these streams? Even just locally for my display? A couple of the stations will pick up the artwork while streaming, but in the BluOS app, they are shown with a generic white icon.

At this time Custom Artwork for TuneIN Customer stations is not possible but I will pass this forward to our Dev Team for future consideration!

Hey Sam,
Another idea maybe.....Maybe store the url stream and image like an album or song in your library? Click on the album or song, stream starts and artwork is displayed?

Has this been looked at since the original request?
Not sure if it can be related but there are many internet radio streams on flac with metadata. I'm currently only been able to add as custom urls in TuneIn but can't see any artwork or even the station's logo.

I am trying to find a solution to the issue of showing a proper logo on custom URL streams/Radios instead of a dull white logo that is now showing, for few months after buying a NAD M10v2. Only way to do this is via Roon. But the Roon service is very expensive just for that feature that I want. Relying on 3rd party Apps/Integration like TuneIn is never going to go very well and probably waste of time. Why Bluos can’t add back the option for adding custom URL and also add option for a logo like Roon does it nicely? I believe this feature was there before Bluos 4.0 and then removed. Unless there is a legal issue why on earth would you remove functionality when moving to a higher SW release. And if adding custom URL on Bluos is a legal issue how Roon and TuneIt have addressed it?

No you cannot add Artwork to the custom URL.

Thanks for the very quick response Tony, but this is not really a Bluos feature, this is a TuneIn capability that has been there with TuneIn for years and I am also using for long time now. The issue as you mention is lack of Artwork and have no hopes that TuneIn will ever add support. My comment above was not support for custom URL via TuneIn but instead directly from Bluos same as Roon supports this (inc. Artwork) without relying on TuneIn.
