MDC BluOS 2i WiFi issue
AnsweredHello
I just got a DAC 368 with the BluOS module in it. When I am trying to connect my (Android) phone with my amp via the Bluesound app, I am able to find my DAC 368 and click on it. But when it is in the middle of connecting, my WiFi connection with my phone stops for 1 second in the middle of this process so it isn't able to connect. I have turned everything off and back on and the same problem still occurs.
Can somebody help me?
Kind Regards
Rik

Hello Rik,
While doing the first time wireless setup, your Android will temporarily disconnect from your WiFi for a moment because it's switching to the C368's hotspot.
But if after going through the whole process it gives you the Not Complete message, it's probably best to use the Ethernet setup approach.
1) Disconnect the power from your C368
2) Connect an Ethernet cable directly to the Player, which goes directly to your router
3) Connect the power back into the Player
4) Wait until its fully powered on and connected. It should show up in the BluOS app at this point
5) Open the mobile BluOS controller while connected to the WiFi network of your home
6) Select the 3 lines in the top left corner of the BluOS app and go to Settings
7) Select Player and then WiFi
8) Select the WiFi network you wish to connect to and enter the password for it
9) Wait 5 minutes and then disconnect the power from your C368
10) Disconnect the Ethernet cable and then reconnect the power for your PlayerRegards,
Sam R.
