    Hi Peter

    Please see https://support.bluos.net/hc/en-us/articles/360000480068

Due to security changes in Windows, you cannot browse to it but you can still link to it.

    Hi Tony,

Thanks for the reply. However: this won't work (unless the M33 runs WIndows 10 too, which it doesn't). In Win10 it does this:

I also installed SMB1.0 in Win10, to check if that would solve the issue, and as expected, it doesn't.

Next to thsi issue, there's also no way to connect to internet from the M50.2 as explained above. It's as if a firewall in the M50.2 prohibits connections. I've also included a Wireshark trace in the original incident, that will show you the broken software in teh M50.3

The NAD M50.2 local library will appear in the BluOS App under Local Library and fully accessible from the NAD M33 provided they are on the same network - there is nothing to do.

As for your Windows machine, there is also no need to enable older SMB 1.0 provided your NAD M50.2 is running the latest version of the BluOS Firmware. You can check this in the BluOS App under Help, About. The current release is BluOS 3.12.13.

If you are still having issues, please select Help, Send Support Request so our Support Crew can take a closer look.

    H iTony,

The M33 can 'see' the files on the M50.2 through BluOS (they're on the same network), but it can't see the M50.2 by means of a network share, something that it used to be able to.

There's also no way Windows Explorer can access the M50.2 (which did work before, also on 3.12.13), mapping network drives does not work.

Obviously there's still issues on the M50: SMB/CIFS doesn't work anymore, and no internet connectivity on the M50.2. I've already send a support request, but there's still no reaction on that request.

    regards,

    Peter

BTW My question isn't answered, no new info / solution / cause was given so nothing was answered. Status should be 'reacted' or 'responded'.

perhaps I should restate my question: what can I do to access the OS of the M50.2? then I can see what's working myself. M50.2 is listening on SSH port, but what's the logon and password? What function has the little service button?

And as a work around: is there any other way to upload new music to hard disk of my M50.2? BluOS lacks the option to upload music files, so which other options do I have?
