Flex 2i hissing

Recently I bought another Pulse Flex speaker. This time its a 2i model and it was intended for the bedroom. However the speaker hisses as soon as a music stream is started. It hisses when playing, but continues to do so when the stream is paused. The hiss is loud enough to be really annoying and it is therefore unusable in the bedroom. I tried using the speaker right in front of my wifi router (not grouped) and it still hisses with the best possible connection. Is this a defect in the speakers amp?

  If it's less than 30 days old - take it back to your dealer - they will take care of you.
