    Hi Steve

Remove the B25 device from the equation and either pair directly to the the NODE 2i using AptX HD or better yet use Spotify Connect to play Spotify from the NODE 2i.

How would I pair directly to the NODE 2i?  I would love to remove any extraneous equipment.

I'm not sure if I was clear but I do want all Windows sounds to play through the NODE 2i.  That should include standard sounds, playing music through Spotify, browsers (YouTube, etc), as well as music/podcasts through iTunes.  I am new to this particular product but not to computer support or audio equipment or the combination thereof.

    Hi Steve

You can... for items such as YouTube

But you will get a better audio experience by using the Spotify Connect option in their Windows App or for content locally stored on your computer by creating a File Share in The BluOS App (for Windows) under Music Library, Local Share, and the one-time setup.

This also may prevent some of the interrupts you are seeing this way.

Also, check out www.bluesound.com/bluetooth and consider going the above route and setting your Bluetooth to manual to also select when you want to use Bluesound as your Windows Speaker. Even though the B25 looks like it supports AptX BT - you will be happier with a direct connection when you can.

I understand the direct connection.  The computer does not have Bluetooth built-in.  It's a workstation so there is no wireless or bluetooth.

If it's wired to the same network router as the NODE, it will work regardless of the medium the NODE is using to connect to that router.
