Bluesound Powernode 2i running speakers and a second digital stereo
AnsweredHey,
I have Dynaudio Xeo 4's which I run on a Yamaha wxc-50. I'd like to move to Bluesound. I understand that the Node 2i can run two sets of monitors by splitting the toslink or coax to run them both at the same time.
But I was interested in getting a powernode 2i, then I can get some passive speakers which I can run off that. But I'd like to have all 4 speakers at the same time (the Dynaudio's). Can the Powernode also send out the same signal in digital? I see there is a usb port? Could that do that?
Many thanks!

You can - but I would never recommend this - you will be better off buying two players in the long run.
Connect a NODE to one set up and passive speakers to a POWERNODE as your second setup and then group the players for fully synchronised playback. Or have them play individually as well.
