"Low batt" warning LED or sound on Flex?

When listening to my Flex 2i using the BP100 battery pack, it already happened to me several times to run out of power, resulting not only in the Flex switching off and interrupting the music but also in a general music interruption and sometimes player dropout when the Flex in question is grouped with other Pulses in the house.

I know the app shows the battery level and sends one "low battery" prompt, however these would typically appear shortly before the battery pack dies and requires to check the app regularly. The Flex itself though, does not give any indication that it is about to die.

Wouldn't it be possible to programme the LED on the Flex to start blinking red (for example) a few minutes in advance or emit a specific warning sound, so that the user knows it's time to plug and charge without having to look at the app?
