SOUNDBAR sound cuts out replaced by loud rapid clicking sound

Occasionally, the SOUNDBAR cuts out and emits a very loud rapid clicking sound.  Can not reset except by unplugging the SOUNDBAR.

This happens randomly but seems to occur when changing something like switching from Netflix to satellite, or even when pausing or muting sound.

Sent in help ticket on 11/10.  Have had no reply even after several follow ups.  Is this what I should expect from Bluesound Support?
