Node 1 and PowerNode 1 don't appear in MacOSX or IOS apps unless power cycled.
AnsweredWhen my Node 1 and PowerNode 1 are left idle for a few days they seem to disappear from the network. Neither my IOS or OSX controllers can find them unless I power cycle them to bring them back to life. When sleeping they seem to be in a coma.
Node 1 is still running v3.12.2 but the PowerNode is up to date. The Mac OSX controller is up to date, the IOS controller isn't. I just updated it but now it won't work until I update the Node 1. I don't want to upgrade unless it's to address a known problem. How about a 3rd option to defer an update indefinitely ?
Every device in my house is on a 5 disc BT Home hub WiFi network. It's about as stable as WiFi gets. There's no channel interference as my neighbours are much too far away.
The Node 1 is closet to the Master disc so it should have a very strong signal. I can't run the diagnostics to see the actual signal level while it's asking for an upgrade to v3.12.6. The PowerNode is a bit further away from a WiFi disc but still has a good signal strength of -58dBm.
There's no apparent network problem that might cause the Node 1 & PowerNode 1 to disappear after a few days sleeping. Is this a setting, a "feature" or a bug ?
