Improving sound

Hi, i own a Node 2, which is just great, my question is if i upgraded my present Amplifier to something of higher quality. perhaps Naim or Musical Fidelity. Would i improve the sound quality,  obviously still using my Node 2 ? Cheers Rodney Stone

  Hello,

  A bit tricky to say. Upgrading your present amplifier itself would improve the hardware, and if it comes with a built-in DAC, you would first want to switch to a digital output on the NODE (either COAX or Optical) to use the new amp's DAC.

  Ultimately I would recommend demoing it and testing the RCA Analog out (NODE's DAC) vs the Digital outs (external DAC) to see if it is the sonic improvement you are looking for.
