Volume slider non-functional after 3.8.3
AnsweredHello,
I updated to 3.10.0 awhile back, and the volume slider became non-responsive. I downgraded back to 3.8.3 and it worked again. This morning I see a update to 3.12.0, so I download it and the volume slider again became unresponsive. I have again downgraded back to 3.8.3 to have volume control of the program. I have submitted a new trouble ticket, but I don't know how much assistance I will get. I had the same issue with 3.8.3 and when I submitted a ticket for the same issue, I was told, they could not duplicate the issue.
Anyone else have this issue?
thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris
Something is odd here and not related to the firmware. If it is, it is most likely networking related as we did upgrade our Wi-Fi Driver in 3.10.x so I am escalating this for us to take a closer look.
We will be in touch.

Thank you, I appreciate it. Just a bit more, My network is extremely stable, both the Vault 2i and Node 2 are on a hardwired connection. My computer is on a WiFi connection.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Hello Tony,
A case was open (200881), I responded to the tech 3 times for clarification on his procedure and I cannot get an answer.
as a interim, I have uninstalled the 3.12.0, rebooted my Vault 2i, Node 2 and Node 2i. I then re-installed the 3.12.0 BlueOs version on my windows 10 laptop. Again, I have no control over volume on the laptop. I once again uninstalled 3.12.0 and re-installed 3.8.3 and I have control over the volume in the app.
Please advise next step?
thanks,
Chris

I have the same problem. For me is the Windows Controller unsable.
It cannot be true that this simple function gone away and Bluesound doesn't fix it. I thought I bought a high quality product.
