Please correct the volume discrepancy between streaming and other sources
AnsweredI've spent some time searching through the forum before posting this request. I have noticed (as have others) that the volume from streaming sources is considerably higher (in my case 10db+) than other sources like a music library accessed through the USB port to external storage.
Please find a way to either level the output before it leaves the device or provide us the ability to set the volume on an individual source basis. My friends that use much more expensive streaming/DACs (Auralic, Bryston, DCS, etc) do not have this problem, so surely a smart group of engineers like those at Bluesound should be able to provide a solution.
Other than that, I love the sound quality and convenience that my Node 2 provides!

Thanks for the feedback Gary
This is not an easy fix and requires us to significantly alter gain settings in order to accomplish it. We do take great pride and quite a bit of time to ensure a true and accurate reproduction of sound.
As a workaround, consider using Presets and include volume settings in those presets when source switching.

Unfortunately, presets workaround is not too comfortable. I need to activate preset before I play Spotify. But volume memory per source would fix this issue for all of us
