I will pass this forward to our BluOS Development Lab for their consideration.

Isn't that just connected to your phone? are you able to use it with the node2i now?

Hello, yes we would need the bluesound to support Qobuz connect so we can directly use it from the Qobuz app as a player in the device section.

Merci to bring this up as it's a limitation against Spotify or Tidal

Will there now be a possibility to control the Node 2i directly as a Qobuz Connect device?

In my research I could not find any confirmation that Qobuz officially has a connect feature like TIDAL and Spotify. This feedback has been passed on to our team but it may be best to also bring this up with Qobuz's support team

Qobuz literally has a feature called Qobuz connect connect.

May I see a documentation from Qobuz's website? I see there is Chromecast/UPnP support and I see KriHad's above screenshot, but was unable to find documentation on a purely Qobuz connect feature that BluOS could be made an endpoint of without separate UPnP/DLNA/Casting.

I ask as there may be a limit to what I can find as I am located in Canada (no Qobuz here :'( ) and I want to be able to provide more accurate info

Qobuz Connect is, at present, just a naming for wireless connection. (Airplay, BT, Chromecast)

Connect as in Tidal/Spotify's way are not available....yet

Hi, during a chat session with Qobuz support, they told me that they will have qobuz connect before middle of 2023.

So if Bluesound implements their connect feature (if technically possible) it could be about a year away.

Max, please ask Qobuz when they are going to release it. Then it’s something Bluesound can implement.

Hi Seppi! Ok, I will do that.

Latest I heard was first half of this year, so it’s still a way off unfortunately. Then it’s would be down to Bluesound to implement such a function, again this would take time.

This is the answer from Qobuz:
    Hello,
we are still working on the connect app and will still need some more testing to make it available for every device.
We are not yet at the point for beta tests, but on a good way with the app.
There is no official date yet but we hope we can start the beta in a couple of month.
As soon as there a news we will annonce it in a big way.
    kind regards,
    Marina
