BluOS doesn't support WiFi 6 at this time (works with WiFi 5) so that is likely why you're seeing this odd behavior.

Sam, I ended up plugging it into the router to avoid the WIFI issue. Do you know if this issue will be addressed via software or does it require a hardware change to use WiFi6? Why do all my other WiFi devices (DVDs, ancient plasma TV) work with WiFi6?

Likely because BluOS requires additional ports that a lot of other WIFi devices don't use, and these ports may be implemented with updated protocols that isn't yet in BluOS.

From what I understand of WiFi 6, I don't see any reason this would be limited to hardware (I'm not 100% on that but 98%).

Interesting....hopefully a firmware update will solve this so I have the option of using wireless.

    Thanks Sam

Hi Axb234 - unlikely Verizon will fix this via a firmware update. Contact them or your router documentation to ensure their router has Multicast enabled and IGMP Proxies disabled for all your IoT devices (not just Bluesound) to work properly.

I mean NAD releasing a firmware update not VERIZON.

    Multicast and IGMP...ok

    What is IoT?

Everything but Bluesound connected fine to the new router. Old and new devices.

There is nothing for BluOS to update - as the router is the one blocking traffic. Please contact Verizon
