BluOS Mobile Phone Interface - Landscape
AnsweredHi,
I am new to Bluesound and BluOS (recently purchased Powernode 2i).
I would like to use an old mobile phone as a mounted BluOS interface display/remote and I would like to have it setup in landscape view. However, the BluOS interface on my phones cannot be used in landscape mode because all the top row of icons that are present in the portrait mode (menu, playlist, groups) are not visible in landscape (see photos below).
Looking at the forums this seems to have been an issue for quite some time (link) and I'm surprised it still exists.
I have tried two different phones (Nokia 8 and Moto X) and both are the same. The problem does not occur on my table (Samsung Tab 2).
I realise my use-case is probably a little niche, but I think for the price paid for this hardware, the app and UI should be similarly polished and complete.
Cheers,
Rich

Hi Rich
Older phones do not have the necessary resolution to provide landscape on that scale. Sorry - your best solution is to buy a low-grade NEW Android Tablet or consider an Android Kindle Fire. This will cost you a few dollars but not many and you will be far happier with the results.
