Working of BP100 improved?
Hello!
Is my mind playing tricks on me, or has the performance of the BP100 battery pack (installed in my case on a Flex 2i) greatly improved with a recent Bluesound update?
I was getting used to the fact (but still always annoyed when I eventually discovered) that the batteries always were empty when I left Flex 2i in deep standby for, say, more than a day without recharging.
For some time now, I noticed multiple times that the batteries have enough juice left to enjoy it for some time, when I finally wake the unit.
The only thing I did on my side was giving the batteries to someone who has a device to fully drain/recharge the batteries a few times, which is said to fix charging issues sometimes. So, maybe that helped as well.
Just wondered if somebody can confirm they noticed improvements on this area as well.
Kind regards,
Vincent

I did not notice but to be honest I stopped leaving my Flex on battery pack overnight a while ago already since being advised by Bluesound that it was preferable to keep it plugged on the mains with the BP off and only attach the BP when there is an actual need to move the Flex away from the mains.

Hi Marc - This is true for all NiMH battery-powered products, not just Bluesound Players...

Thanks Tony, I wasn't suggesting this was a Bluesound Players behaviour only. I do follow your instructions since you explained and have no issues with my battery packs since.
It could probably be helpful for not so technology-versed people like myself to have a "BP100 best practices" note either in the packaging or somewhere on this website though.
