    Hi Anthony

The NODE 2i is not designed with Home Theatre in mind. if you purchase the PULSE SOUNDBAR you can group it with the POWERNODE in a Home Theatre Group with the POWERNODE playing the rear channels if it is in the same room.

That doesn't mean you cannot group the SOUNDBAR with the NODE when watching Captain Rogers and Tony Stark save The Earth from Loki or Thanos - it just means you won't get a true LCR mix. You will get a simultaneous Stereo Mix over top of your DOLBY sound.

    Sometimes louder is better though...

Thank you for your reply Tony.... so are you saying.... it would work if I got the new Bluesound Soundbar... ? that I would get perfectly in sync audio from my new Bluesound Soundbar in sync with my Bluesound Node 2i ? As I need my PowerNode to drive my older B&W speakers in my office... it's the Node 2i that is in my living room along with my Rotel HIFI gear and new B&W speakers. The PowerNode is in my office where I have no other amps to drive those speakers :(

Hi Anthony - the Node is more designed as a two-channel system while the SOUNDBAR and POWERNODE are built with DOLBY in mind so will provide a better home theatre experience.

Cheers again Tony... so that's really a problem for me so... as the PowerNode works in my office while the Node 2i is more suited to my Living Room where I have all my main HIFI Gear...

Can you think of any other configuration that might work....?

Also... my current Samsung Soundbar is 300W while I see the Bluesound Soundbar is only 120W... so would that mean that the output would be lower than what I have already.... I'm not very technical with all the specs etc... I just want the best audio experience I get can really... that Samsung Soundbar + Sub cost me about €700 at the time along with the QTY 2 x Samsung R6 Portable 360º Speakers about another €700.... so that in itself was and is a big investment to retire... I would only do it if I was getting a far superior sound stage experience in my living room.

    Sorry Anthony

When dealing with lip-sync every piece you add to the chain will increase the delay. I don't think we are going to accomplish your goals here beyond your current result. the only possibility would be if your Samsung Soundbar supported Bluetooth Headphones and do not mute when headphones are paired... then you can try transmitting to the POWERNODE via BT but that may not be ideal for other reasons such as audio dropout. You'd be better off sticking a TV in the office and simulcasting to it.
