Optical out volume
Is there a way to more closely match volume levels from the optical out into my receiver?
If I listen to a FM station or the TV (via an analog receiver input) at a 'comfortable' volume level and then switch to the optical input from the Vault 2i, the volume is very low. No problem really, I can increase the volume (20 db's or so) to reach an acceptable level. However, if I switch back to FM or an analog input, not surprisingly, the volume is very loud. That too wouldn't be a big deal if 'one' remembers to turn down the volume after listening to the optical input, but... I wonder if there is some way more closely match the volume levels.
Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks....

Hi Jeffrey
Consider creating a preset and use that preset when turning on and off the TV.

Volume setting per input source is a solution implemented by many other brands. It would be much appreciated if this could be implemented in Bluos as well. Jeffrey's problem is very recognizable, switching from TV to f.i Tidal sometimes gives an explosion of noise when I forget to adapt the volume first.
It surprised me from the start that this kind of user friendly option was not available for my NAD M10/BluOS ? Is this in planning ?

Thanks for the feedback Ron - no plans at this time but it has been passed along to our Quality Assurance Team for future consideration.

Tony,
Is it possible to connect a node 2i optical or coaxial towards a end-power amp. and by blue sound software too do volume control with saftey max output same like Rca output?
